Happy Sunday. Brent has been bringing me to his office to check my email so I'm trying to post quickies just to keep you updated.

Yesterday was mine and Brent's anniversary. 11 years married!! wheeee

We celebrated and bought ourselves a new washing machine for our clothes since our old one died back in MAY!!! I'm SO tired of laundry mats.

It's grey and cold in NH today and feels GREAT!!! I talked to mom in KY and she said it was sunny and HOT there, so I was glad to be in the cooler area!

I went to a knitting group in Concord earlier today. Had a very nice time!!

Until next time!

Still here and doing GREAT in NH!
Call my cell phone if you wanna chat with me!! It's still the Louisville cell number!!

I have found a knitting group of gals that are fun to knit with, so I'm happy to have found them. Jacob is registered for school and starts around 9-6. He's excited about that. Nathan is still saying "I wanna go home." but Lately he says, "I wanna go home..This IS home." I guess he's heard me say it enough to know that's the common response.

Last weekend we went down to RI to visit our friends Jon and Gabi and Calvin and we had a good time at their county fair.

I miss blogging and posting pictures, but know that when I'm set up at home I'll bombard my blogs with catch-up pictures!!

Until then........

Well...I did a post a couple days ago sitting in the airport but I guess it didn't go through!

We found a place to live and now we have scheduled the movers...they will be here the 1st or 2nd and drop off around the 6th.
Brent is leaving in the morning since he has to be at work Monday morning. I'm glad he's starting so we don't have a lack of paychecks coming in :):)

I'll stay here and wait for the movers then drive up with the boys and Lincoln (our dog) after the movers leave. I have already scoped out a hotel to stay at that is pet friendly.

I took video of the house, but once I get back up there and get pictures and internet service I'll be able to post more.

For those of you that want to keep in touch, just used my yahoo email. Back to packing the large pictures frames from the living room.

HELLO from beautiful New Hampshire. It has been a whirl wind of looking at properties to rent for us to start out. OH it's beautiful up and and I'll have everything I'll need....except my mother! I think that's going to be the hardest part. YES YES I'll miss my friends and home town and all too!! Today we have about 4 more properties to look at and we've already seen about 9 or so!! We want to make a decision tonight so we can put down the deposit and first months rent before we fly out tomorrow.
No pictures today.... maybe when I get settled and find a place to live I'll get some photos to give you some shots.

Things are moving right along.

This past Tuesday night I went to "Knitting Practice" (as Jacob calls it) and the girls gave me gifts!!!! Sonya, Tabitha and Stacy got me some Makers Mark (OH YEAH BABY!), and a Sunergo's Coffee Shop t-shirt where we meet. Stacy stuck in some left over yarn from a sweater she made, which we will NEVER forget how much work she put into calculating the thing to "Fit" tee hee!! (it is a beautiful sweater, Stacy, just have to keep razzing you about it for fun!!) and there was a baggie of scrap fabrics too!! Man I miss my sewing machine!! Ruth made me some fingerless gloves out of some Moda Yarn and MAN is that stuff soft!! She said it was for the cold climate so I could still knit!!! LOVE IT!!! I'll get a picture when I find out where Brent packed the camera. Then we all went to Karma Cafe and got a bite to eat and heard some live music, then across the street to Akiko's for some Karaoke fun!! Ruth got SSSShhhhh'ed by a girl in love with her MAN singing and we all got a giggle out of that and so Ruth pulled out a note book and we all wrote in the book what we wanted to say to each other. It was fun!!! THANKS GIRLS!!!

Tomorrow, Brent and I head to NH. The boys will be staying with my parents while we look for a place to live. Post may be scattered for a bit but I'll try to keep any interested readers up on the happenings!!! Our house is up for sale and I saw it online. Check it out here if you want to move to Kentucky!!! :)

My Uncle Royce writes for a news paper in the town where my parents grew up. A couple weeks ago Jacob stayed down there in the town with my mother and my Uncle Royce came by. It was a cool thing to see that Uncle Royce mentioned Jacob in his latest article.
Read it HERE. It's pretty neat. I always remember looking forward to reading his articles as a child when he wrote for Wildlife Magazine when he lived in Boise, ID.

Brent has been working so hard on the house!! The other day he resurfaced the front porch and put new carpet on it. I helped him paint the base of the house and the shutters on the front of the house.

Nathan just decided he would play while we worked. I had to take a walk every once in awhile to get him back infront of the house.
This is Lincoln....he's the supervisor of the job of fixing the house.
No Nonsense, No Playing, Get to work.....I'm serious....
And here is our little house!! Man I'm going to miss it especially after the work we've done to make it look nicer...Brent and I kinda looked at each other the other day and said, "Kinda sorry we didn't do this sooner!" So if you are thinking of doing it ONE DAY!! Hurry and do it so you can enjoy it and not move out 2 weeks after you do it!!! :)
Here's a shot of the guys putting the glue down. Jacob loved helping daddy and Miguel (our neighbor, boy I'll miss his cookouts! They have GREAT Fajitas!)

RAK = Random Act of Kindess

My good friend Heather RAK'ed me. Here's the package staring back at me and the goodies she sent me!! Button's with my Esty address on it, and sewing patterns for purses!!!!! :)

My Little Outlaws!!! I was sitting in the basement feeding my niece, Lana, her bottle when these two rootin' tootin' varments came down the steps with their cowboys hats on. Nathan had his on sideways...I was Crackin' UP!!! The little fella in the grey shirt is my nephew, Luke.
Off they go to terrorize the upstairs of the house!! Watch out world!! Luke and Nathan are on the job!
OH this made my day!! Luke was born 6 days before Nathan. They are two 2 year old wild ones right now, but OH they're fun!!
One day Luke had a poptart and he broke it in half and I asked "OH! Was that magic?" And I swear he looked me square in the eye like I had lost it and said, "No...It's a poptart." I just thought I'd cry from laughing so hard!

Happy 4th of July! We spent the day cleaning and packing, then went to family's house for dinner then to Tina's house for fireworks. Let me tell you...they had some fireworks!! It was great! I am glad I got to spend a little more time with her and talking with her dad too. Good People.

Here are some pictures from girls night out! From left to right, Me (what's up with the poor posture?!?), Tina (Best friend and was maid of honor at my wedding), Meredith (know her since 6th grade!) and Sarah (Bet you wouldn't guess she was one kick a$$ drummer in highschool). We went to a place where you paint your own pottery. (sorry the picture's so dark)

Sarah made a "Happy Birthday" Mug. She said she already had a plate that said "Happy Birthday" on it and when it's someone's birthday in their family, they eat every meal on that plate the day of their birthday. Glad they finally get a mug to wash it all down with! HAHA!! Meredith was the adventurous one of the group and she did two projects. The one shown is a gift for her soon to be niece. A "Z" for Zoe. Very whimsical! She also did a cat dish bowl. Too cute!
I was all excited about going to the paint your own pottery place!! I thought "OH I can create and not have to mess any of MY house up. I got in there and ...... "insert blank thoughts here"..... I had NO IDEA what I wanted to do! I started out with an 8" tile and was just going to doodle on it. Then I saw this sassy little sushi salad dish and in a book saw a bowl that said "Keys" on it. So I thought, "Hey I'll do that! Very cool idea!" Now when we move we'll have a place to set our keys!!! Note: I can not find my keys right now... I'm using my spare set. Cowinkydink??? I think so!
And Tina....she asked me if I was going to put this on my Myspace.com page, and I told her "No, just my blog!" I'm sure she'll pay me back one way or another! Her and her Husband do these BBQ festivals and competitions, so she made a cool platter. SHE DREW THAT!! No template, no picture in front of her....nothing... Isn't it awesome! We won't get our pottery back until sometime this week I think. I can't wait to see how they all turn out!
In other "moving" news...I got my beads and stamps and yarn and sewing stuff alllll packed up. The room is starting to look so empty. Hope I can make it with out any of my stuff! I did keep some yarn in my knitting bag so I can still have a couple knitting projects at hand. Well, guess I should do something around the house. It's just not packing itself!

Well, I'm getting ready to go out with some girlfriends tonight. All the girls I went to high school with and the last time we were all together was when I found out I was pregnant with Nathan. The time before that, the last time we were all together was highschool.
OH, your girlfriends. I always think about them and cherish them, and now I'm really going to miss them!! Even though we didn't get together often, I knew they were close.
I am taking a disposable camera, no wait maybe I'll take it and the digital, so I can blog about our night!
Off to have one last blast with my GIRLFRIENDS!

Hot Fun in the Summer Time!
What a flipping major score!!! We got this Bonsai Blast for $29.95!!! They go for $129.00 at Wal-mart!!! Yes yes you can be jealous. I did try it out...and I failed misseribly..this is a toy for little ones for sure... Jacob loves it and Nathan's getting used to it too!
We are having a moving/yard sale tomorrow to get rid of some furniture and such. I am also destashing my beads....*gasp* I know.. breathe breathe. I have no clue where we are going to live, but I'm sure it will be smaller that what we have. haha. I am excited! And scared too LOL

As far as making things...I started on the cars pillow case but haven't finished it. I'm just to busy with the kiddo's. But looking back I'll be glad I had this time with my nieces and nephew when I'm up in New Hampshire.

Anybody wanna buy a house?? Kentucky is a cheap place to live!! :)

Sorry to keep anyone reading in suspense!

We have opened the letter.......
We are talking it over.......
We just have to decide if we want to do it or not......

If we do, I'll still be able to stay home with the boys and I'll have to work my patootie off and get my Stampin' Up going up there!! I still want to CREATE!! I keep thinking of the store I saw that said "Crafters Wanted" and I'd love to see what I could offer!!

I just have to say my friend Tamelyn is AWESOME!!!!! She sent me some goodies I've been looking for forever!!!! Tamelyn, they boys thank you too for all the goodies you sent them!! The Planet cards are too friggin' cool!! Jacob and I will enjoy those this summer! I already have one side of the "project" done! I don't wanna tell anyone what I'm doing just yet because I want to unveil the little bugger when it's done!! tee hee!!! Thanks!

Finally, here are some pictures from Brent's fight over the weekend. :) He rocks! The referee was Matt Hughes (for any of you UFC fans, you know who he is.)

Funny how one little envelope can hold so much of the unknown in your future!! Brent finally got a letter from Deka...this will help us decided if YES we want to go or NO, we don't want to go. And as luck would have it, because I always seem to get the BAD luck, Brent is OUT OF FRIGGIN' TOWN!!!!!! I dare not open the letter! I want to so bad, but this is for him! I'll wait until he calls tonight and then tells me to open it!! (I Hope).

In other new... Brent had another fight over the weekend in the Caged Inferno II. I'll have to get some pictures from the fight. Brent did a good job and came out victorious! I was very happy and it took me about 2 fights after that for my nerves to calm down. We went out eat with some of the guys Brent trains with and it turned out to be a fun night. This is the only picture I have at the moment. This was the face off between Brent and his opponent. Brent's the tall one on the right. The other guy didn't look that much shorter when they were fighting. I think he was crouching down like a boxer in the picture or something. Anyway...GOOD TIMES!! haha

Friday, June 16, 2006

Click on the banner below to go to my shop.
I will try to get Elvis up on Etsy soon. I hope my sewing machine works better with me today :)

Have a happy day! Let me know what you think of my Etsy.

Best wishes to Stacy and Bobby!! Have a wonderful Wedding Weekend!

Thursday, June 15, 2006

I started on an Elvis coin purse today..... the tension on my sewing machine is goofing off today and I can't seem to straighten it out. Maybe tomorrow I'll try again. I've already ripped it out twice... I was getting mad, so I put it away.
Today has flown by for some reason. I did get to stop by the Forget-Me-Not quilt shop today and I picked up a couple nice fat quarters. Who know's what they'll be, but they were cute!
Pictures later. I'm to tired to hunt down the camera, and boy it's hot! I just don't wanna move from the cooool basement.
