Well...I did a post a couple days ago sitting in the airport but I guess it didn't go through!

We found a place to live and now we have scheduled the movers...they will be here the 1st or 2nd and drop off around the 6th.
Brent is leaving in the morning since he has to be at work Monday morning. I'm glad he's starting so we don't have a lack of paychecks coming in :):)

I'll stay here and wait for the movers then drive up with the boys and Lincoln (our dog) after the movers leave. I have already scoped out a hotel to stay at that is pet friendly.

I took video of the house, but once I get back up there and get pictures and internet service I'll be able to post more.

For those of you that want to keep in touch, just used my yahoo email. Back to packing the large pictures frames from the living room.

HELLO from beautiful New Hampshire. It has been a whirl wind of looking at properties to rent for us to start out. OH it's beautiful up and and I'll have everything I'll need....except my mother! I think that's going to be the hardest part. YES YES I'll miss my friends and home town and all too!! Today we have about 4 more properties to look at and we've already seen about 9 or so!! We want to make a decision tonight so we can put down the deposit and first months rent before we fly out tomorrow.
No pictures today.... maybe when I get settled and find a place to live I'll get some photos to give you some shots.

Things are moving right along.

This past Tuesday night I went to "Knitting Practice" (as Jacob calls it) and the girls gave me gifts!!!! Sonya, Tabitha and Stacy got me some Makers Mark (OH YEAH BABY!), and a Sunergo's Coffee Shop t-shirt where we meet. Stacy stuck in some left over yarn from a sweater she made, which we will NEVER forget how much work she put into calculating the thing to "Fit" tee hee!! (it is a beautiful sweater, Stacy, just have to keep razzing you about it for fun!!) and there was a baggie of scrap fabrics too!! Man I miss my sewing machine!! Ruth made me some fingerless gloves out of some Moda Yarn and MAN is that stuff soft!! She said it was for the cold climate so I could still knit!!! LOVE IT!!! I'll get a picture when I find out where Brent packed the camera. Then we all went to Karma Cafe and got a bite to eat and heard some live music, then across the street to Akiko's for some Karaoke fun!! Ruth got SSSShhhhh'ed by a girl in love with her MAN singing and we all got a giggle out of that and so Ruth pulled out a note book and we all wrote in the book what we wanted to say to each other. It was fun!!! THANKS GIRLS!!!

Tomorrow, Brent and I head to NH. The boys will be staying with my parents while we look for a place to live. Post may be scattered for a bit but I'll try to keep any interested readers up on the happenings!!! Our house is up for sale and I saw it online. Check it out here if you want to move to Kentucky!!! :)

My Uncle Royce writes for a news paper in the town where my parents grew up. A couple weeks ago Jacob stayed down there in the town with my mother and my Uncle Royce came by. It was a cool thing to see that Uncle Royce mentioned Jacob in his latest article.
Read it HERE. It's pretty neat. I always remember looking forward to reading his articles as a child when he wrote for Wildlife Magazine when he lived in Boise, ID.

Brent has been working so hard on the house!! The other day he resurfaced the front porch and put new carpet on it. I helped him paint the base of the house and the shutters on the front of the house.

Nathan just decided he would play while we worked. I had to take a walk every once in awhile to get him back infront of the house.
This is Lincoln....he's the supervisor of the job of fixing the house.
No Nonsense, No Playing, Get to work.....I'm serious....
And here is our little house!! Man I'm going to miss it especially after the work we've done to make it look nicer...Brent and I kinda looked at each other the other day and said, "Kinda sorry we didn't do this sooner!" So if you are thinking of doing it ONE DAY!! Hurry and do it so you can enjoy it and not move out 2 weeks after you do it!!! :)
Here's a shot of the guys putting the glue down. Jacob loved helping daddy and Miguel (our neighbor, boy I'll miss his cookouts! They have GREAT Fajitas!)

The other day I was RAK'ed through the mail. For those of you who have never been RAK'ed, you'll be jealous...and No it didn't hurt!!!

RAK = Random Act of Kindess

My good friend Heather RAK'ed me. Here's the package staring back at me and the goodies she sent me!! Button's with my Esty address on it, and sewing patterns for purses!!!!! :)

My Little Outlaws!!! I was sitting in the basement feeding my niece, Lana, her bottle when these two rootin' tootin' varments came down the steps with their cowboys hats on. Nathan had his on sideways...I was Crackin' UP!!! The little fella in the grey shirt is my nephew, Luke.
Off they go to terrorize the upstairs of the house!! Watch out world!! Luke and Nathan are on the job!
OH this made my day!! Luke was born 6 days before Nathan. They are two 2 year old wild ones right now, but OH they're fun!!
One day Luke had a poptart and he broke it in half and I asked "OH! Was that magic?" And I swear he looked me square in the eye like I had lost it and said, "No...It's a poptart." I just thought I'd cry from laughing so hard!

Happy 4th of July! We spent the day cleaning and packing, then went to family's house for dinner then to Tina's house for fireworks. Let me tell you...they had some fireworks!! It was great! I am glad I got to spend a little more time with her and talking with her dad too. Good People.

Here are some pictures from girls night out! From left to right, Me (what's up with the poor posture?!?), Tina (Best friend and was maid of honor at my wedding), Meredith (know her since 6th grade!) and Sarah (Bet you wouldn't guess she was one kick a$$ drummer in highschool). We went to a place where you paint your own pottery. (sorry the picture's so dark)

Sarah made a "Happy Birthday" Mug. She said she already had a plate that said "Happy Birthday" on it and when it's someone's birthday in their family, they eat every meal on that plate the day of their birthday. Glad they finally get a mug to wash it all down with! HAHA!! Meredith was the adventurous one of the group and she did two projects. The one shown is a gift for her soon to be niece. A "Z" for Zoe. Very whimsical! She also did a cat dish bowl. Too cute!
I was all excited about going to the paint your own pottery place!! I thought "OH I can create and not have to mess any of MY house up. I got in there and ...... "insert blank thoughts here"..... I had NO IDEA what I wanted to do! I started out with an 8" tile and was just going to doodle on it. Then I saw this sassy little sushi salad dish and in a book saw a bowl that said "Keys" on it. So I thought, "Hey I'll do that! Very cool idea!" Now when we move we'll have a place to set our keys!!! Note: I can not find my keys right now... I'm using my spare set. Cowinkydink??? I think so!
And Tina....she asked me if I was going to put this on my Myspace.com page, and I told her "No, just my blog!" I'm sure she'll pay me back one way or another! Her and her Husband do these BBQ festivals and competitions, so she made a cool platter. SHE DREW THAT!! No template, no picture in front of her....nothing... Isn't it awesome! We won't get our pottery back until sometime this week I think. I can't wait to see how they all turn out!
In other "moving" news...I got my beads and stamps and yarn and sewing stuff alllll packed up. The room is starting to look so empty. Hope I can make it with out any of my stuff! I did keep some yarn in my knitting bag so I can still have a couple knitting projects at hand. Well, guess I should do something around the house. It's just not packing itself!
